Lemon Ginger Juice/drink/squash
Lemon Ginger drink is the best summer fresh juice which can make easily at home.It gives instant freshness n health as well in the form of ginger n lemon.Its suitable for all climates n act as detoxifying agent.Home made fresh juice are far better than store bought bottled ones with chemicals for increasing shelf life and added colours even though they labelled as natural.
Stop buying these artificial ones n prepare pure home made varieties with your fav fruits.Also you can store that in a good container with lid in a deep freezer for 2 months.(try to finish that within 2 months,since we are not adding any preservatives).So i'm planning to give you the recipes of fresh juices in my blog.I have already gave the recipe for Grape juice.Today im sharing you the recipe for fresh Lemon Ginger juice.
Ingredients you needed
lemon - 6 nos(medium sized)- 1 cup con juice
Ginger paste - 2 Tb sp(fresh ginger chopped n grinded)
Orange - juice of 1
Sugar -2 cup
Water - 1 cup
- Clean n peel ginger,chopped n grinded.
- Make the sugar syrup(Boil 2 cups of sugar in 1 cup water)Remove the dirty brownish bubbles(foams),forms in the syrup.ie from the sugar, using a clean spoon.
- Mix the grinded ginger to the sugar syrup and allow to cool and settle.
- Mean while squeeze out the lemon juice and collect.
- Mix the lemon juice to the cooled ginger sugar syrup.
- I have added the juice of 1 orange for good colour.(not essential)
- Strain the conc.lemon ginger squash in a strainer and store in clean container or bottles and store in refrigerator.
- Use 1/4 cup of squash with 3/4 cup of water(ratio) with ice.
- Serve with a slice of orange or lemon with chilled ice.
- Its good to keep in a good container and store in freezer for 2 months.
- You can take the juice with ice cream scoop n use with water.
