This is an easy dish and can be prepare within minutes.For this chicken dish,small - medium sizes of chicken was used.It makes a good combination for rice varieties.All working moms can try this variety,since it won''t require so many ingredients or masala.
Here comes the ingredients and method for this easy dish.
1.Chicken- 1/2 K
2.Pepper Powder- 2Tsp
3.Turmeric powder-1/4 Tsp
4.Coriander powder - 1 Tsp
5.Ginger -Garlic paste - 1 Tsp
6.Lemon juice-2 Tsp
7.Small onion(shallots)- 200 g
8.Salt - to taste
1.Marinate Chicken with ginger-garlic paste,1 Tsp of pepper powder,1/4 tsp turmeric powder,coriander powder, lemon juice and salt.Keep aside for 15 minutes.
2.Cook for 10-15 minutes with 1/4 cup of water in a pan.
3.Take another pan,fry small onions and add the cooked chicken pieces.Add 1 Tsp of pepper powder and fry the chicken pieces along with shallots.
4.When the colour turns brown,turn off the stove and transfer it to a serving bowl.Decorate it with curry leaves or cilantro/mint.
5.Serve hot with any kind of rice or flat breads like chapathi,naan etc.
1.Use small chicken pieces or boneless chicken for easy cooking.
2.Use pepper powder according to your hot taste.
3.If you want gravy or semi gravy dish add grated coconut paste with water which adds more taste to the chicken.
4.Also you can add 1/2 Tsp Garam masala for more flavor.
