Kaadaa or Quail is a small bird with many medicinal values.Its eggs are nutritious and even used in some Ayurvedic medicines.Its like a tiny chicken.Those who haven't tried this meat.Do try if its avaiable in your place.I prepared this recipe when i was back at home.Daddy bought Kaadaa one day and got a chance to prepare it as well.
Lets get started.
Ingredients
1.Kaadaa - 4 Nos
2.Ginger Garlic paste - 1 Tsp each
3.Turmeric powder -1/2 Tsp
4.Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 Tb sp
5.Chicken Masala - 2 Tb sp
6.Pepper powder -1/4 Tsp
7.Salt - to taste(1 Tsp)
8.Lime juice - half lime squeezed
Method
Lets get started.

Method
- Clean and Marinate Kaadaa meat with all the listed ingedients and keep in refrigerator for 15 minutes for setting.
- After that,cook this meat in a pressure cooker for 1 whistle,so that we can shallow fry kaadaa instead of deep frying.
- After Pressure cooking,shallow fry Kaadaa in coconut oil and fry both sides until golden brown.
- Serve hot with rice or just have it as an appetizer.
